Young, Healthy & Free

I have been working as a professional fashion designer for a year now....wow time flies! Over the past year I have been posting pictures of my daily outfit's to help show young professional's my age how to style and keep work outfit's interesting and fun. I recently decided I wanted to change things up a little bit...show a more rounded me. I am gluten free, I work out 3 to 5 times a week and I still love clothing and fashion. Boho Ballerina

Today I have on black knit shorts, coral colored sweater, brown tights, black knee highs and brown boots. For accessories, I threw on a bunch of chunky bracelets, a few rings and the headband I made with recycled fabric from a blouse. I feel very ballerina-esque with a twist of boho! Happy Tuesday!

I LOVE DRESSES!

I love dresses because they are already an outfit in themselves...all you have to do it accessorize and you're ready to go! For this tribal print dress, I put on grey tights, brown vest, a couple chunky bracelets and my suede mary-jane heels. Feliz lunes a mis amigos!

COMFY FRIDAY!

This weather is awful....will it EVER stop raining? Oh well.... I am happy to be alive and blogging this morning! I am totally dressed comfy today, I am going to have to do everything in my power to not curl up under my desk and take a nap! I have on black harmen pants, baggy zebra printed tee, vintage metal necklace, grey bf sweater, brown oxfords and best of all...I did my hair in a messy low bun (SO easy!). Hope everyones weather is better than here and that you have a beautiful and relaxing weekend!

Running Late

This morning I was running a little bit late and didn't have time to post---I took the pics and decided to post when I got home from work instead! Anywhooo....today I had on my velvet leggings, wide button up blouse with a lace tank layered underneath and my brocade wedges! For my hair...I braided and pulled it back into a low messy bun with a handmade headband...made by moi!

Plaid + Nail Art

Lately I have been seeing all sorts of cool new forms or nail art and I can't help but be obsessed---So I decided to try it myself (See picture below!) As for what I am wearing---I am wearing a heather grey dress, plaid mens shirt, vintage belt, teal tights, brown scrunched socks, black moto boots and a poof-y ponytail. (So easy...pretty much kept yesterdays hair a turned it into a pony!) Oh...and check out my silly aviator sunglasses earrings! haha!

Cheetah Shorts & A Bouffant!

Today I have on Almost Famous red cheetah shorts, black bell sleeve chiffon top, black wooden heeled booties and my vintage ethic necklace! I also decided to give myself a little poof-y bouffant with curls...a little 50's do. It's a beautiful day outside, hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Leopard Tights + Bow-Tie

I pulled out my leopard tights that I haven't worn in a few weeks for a piece to plan my outfit around. So I decided to wear a black tube skirt, denim button-up shirt with a small bow-tie...I couldn't decided shoes...oxfords or boots? Well....I decided boots because it is still icy out from the snow fall on Saturday! Have a terrific and calm Monday!

All Mixed Up

I bought this tube dress at H&M for $12, it's perfect because it can be used in about a million different outfits! Today I have on my black tube dress, chunky space dye loopy sweater, caramel colored tights with brown knee highs (yes, I love black and brown together!), my wooden ankle strap heels and my old vintage scarf! TGIF! Have a wonderful Friday and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

A Little Boy-ish Charm

Comfy Return

I am finally back after having to run home for a sad family emergency. I am deciding to staying comfy in Almost Famous jeans, navy tunic, gray sweater vest and leopard print scarf with my suede wedge booties. Happy hump day or as I like to call it...wacky Wednesday!

Embroidered Free People Top

Love this top I bought at a Free People sample sale... this is an example of a spring-ish top that can be worn in the fall/winter, all you need is the right layers! I don't think that winter has to be all about dark colors! Anyways, I have on heathered leggings, faux fur vest (you didn't think I would go a week without wearing it, did you?) and my brown riding boots.

Rainy Day Layers

Today is going to be pretty ugly...rain and temperatures in the 50º, exactly why I have my hair in a bun! Anyways I have on layers and layers, starting with---my leggings with pleather sides, black long sleeve tee with my chiffon blouse on top and space-dye sweater on top of that then finally my black wooden booties with metal studs! At least if I get hot I can take off a layer and still look professional!

Wide Leg Pant with Caramel Sweater

I loved these pants and I haven't worn them in a few months... So I threw on my caramel sweater with studded shoulders, my vintage belt, my strappy brown heels with yellow tights underneath...it is 38º out! I think everyone should have a pair of printed pants...you can literally wear any top you have with them, so easy!!! Anyways hope everyones Wednesday isn't too wacky!

Grandma-esque Sweater!

It's warming up outside, woohoo! So today I have on my grey lace dress, black tights with brown knee highs over top, my pretty little pink grandma sweater with jewels around the neckline and my brown faux lace up booties! I also decided to bring back my charm bracelet…circa 1998. :)

Sheer Dress for CHEAP!

I love when Urban Outfitters has sales….This dress was originally $119 and I got it for $10! I am a bargain hunter…I rarely buy things that are full price, unless…. "I LOVE-IT-GOTTA-HAVE-IT!"How does that even make sense?! So I layered a pair of leggings underneath, a long sleeve gray tee, my faux fur vest (I haven't worn it this week yet!), threw on my old boots and put my hair up into a bun!

Plaid Flannel!

Okay…it is 13º outside, BURRRR!!!

I am wearing my velvet leggings (with tights underneath), my old red plaid flannel mens shirt, my black floral fabric headband that I made a few weeks ago and my black moto boot. Hopefully I don't freeze my buns off walking to work…wish me luck!
