I was browsing on ffffound.com when I cam across what looks like my future home. I love the vintage, girly feel. The picture of the girl jumping would be me...in this arrangements of photos that I call HOME! ...and YES, I have like 10 bedrooms....pshh!

Another long day...

Pin It Had class from 9am-9pm today. Realized that a week from Wednesday, both of my garments are due... this weekend should be a fun one. BLAH. On a happier note: Tomorrow I have an interview and I can't think of what color to paint my nails? Should I go with a more professional gray or a new trendy purple!?!? Maybe I will mix them?!?!?! Hrmmmmm

So, a few weeks ago I delted facebook because I found myself being distracted by the nothingness that happens on that site. In this video, you will here my roommates ridiculous reasoning to why I should still be on the site. Feel free to laugh. Considering Spring officially began LAST SUNDAY....and it's sunny and beautiful here in NY BUT 30 degrees, I insist on wearing spring clothing. Who know's? Maybe Mother Nature will be inspired? 

Along with my feelings the other day...here is a new dress I bought for my interview on Tuesday :-) If that doesn't shout I am ready for spring, I don't know WHAT DOES?

My sis found out the sex of her baby today...it's a girl, a little miss & sassy pants to be!!! I just can't wait to see how my nephew, who is a TOTAL boy in all ways possible, is going to react to a wee little sister!?!  I am obviously ecstatic and pretty emotional about it... Aunt Flow is not helping the situation either!

About 3 weeks ago, I was at Starbucks with my friend Casey when I realized I was looking at my phone "Facebooking" while she was talking to me. HOW RUDE! I was appalled by my stupid behavior and disabled my account right at that very moment. I was finding my obsession a little ridiculous. I shouldn't be wasting my time focusing on other people's drama or ridiculous status' (OMGawd...did you see what SHE said?!?!) I am about to graduate college and need to get my priorities straight which I thought makes sense completely...

BUT...instead, I have been being harassed and nagged on about how much I am missing out on or how much someone else is missing me. Come on people! I enjoy Facebook and did have withdraws the first few days without it but certainly found other, more important things to do. I Googled "actual Facebook addictions" and found this, amongst many others :

Fashionably Hungry

This weekend has been fun………..(insert sarcastic tone here)

Monday the 7^th, my professor told our class that this coming Monday (the 14^th) we will have a fit model come in to fit our first garments. Everyone in the class looked at each other and exhaled a stressful sigh. I don’t think anyone was remotely ready for what our professor had to say. I am posting a video of the “Low Down”- or what we have to get done/should have done already. Although she is right, this is when reality hit.

Friday night: dinner with friends, classroom until midnight.

Saturday: buy cotton fabric, half day in the classroom finishing patterns, rest of the day at home doing homework. (Finished basting my first garment and ready to be fitted on Monday!!!)

Sunday: other homework and buying groceries…it is about time I eat something remotely healthy.

Besides fashion, I love to eat, I love to be creative with food and eat healthy as often as I can. The highlight of my weekend was going grocery shopping at Whole Foods. I spent about an hour and a half looking around and getting the things I “needed”, including vitamins, bringing my bill to $120. Pshhh…being healthy is expensive! Anyways, for dinner, I made what I would call a half burger. Ezekiel bread toasted, a little mustard, burger (gorgonzola and sun dried tomatoes mixed in the beef), sautéed onions, spinach and mushrooms to top it off. It was delicious!!! Then I made gluten free brownies for dessert and was pleasantly surprised by how yummy they were!

….2 hours later, I recognize how much time I have wasted being obsessed with food and realize it is time to get back to work. My Spanish midterm isn’t going to take itself and either is my U.S. History quiz! Back to studying!!!

Week of Wonders

This has been a LONG week! Full of interning, applying to jobs, fittings and of course being goofy with my bff's. Too many things going on, this week…I will let my video speak for me. (at the end of the movie is what happens after a long day of interning and schooling when all you want is Cold Stone and the line is around the store!---oh yea, that's Martha and Grace!)
